Nothing Brings Happiness Like…

…sweaty little feet and chubby red cheeks after playing hard at the park.

…”Sweet to the Core” pineapple pajamas with ruffly little shorts.

…an hour spent squealing, laughing, running, and spinning together with my girl.

…knowing Daddy is coming home early tonight.

…listening to Daddy giving Hula Girl a bath.

…seeing my child, my sweet child, discover new things.

How was swimming? We’re going for Hula’s first time on Thursday… SO looking forward to it! I have a needlework question for you, and I really hope you can help. Hula Girl’s blankie is made up of many crocheted squares, sewn together with yarn. However, when I washed it this morning, it started falling apart! All the squares are separating. How do I fix it? Thanks if you know! šŸ™‚

It seems like I never catch FB messages or replies or tweets until months later! Sorry! We are doing swim lessons for Xander right now so busy busy busy. Nick started toddling out to deeper and deeper water today and the lifeguard was getting ready to jump in and get him when I arrived on the scene! (I was only feet away, but didn’t catch on to what he was doing right away.) I guess I didn’t realize my child would purposefully walk out into water over his head. Yikes. Have you found a fix for the blanket? I can look into more-secure yarn-sewing stitches if you haven’t. I haven’t made a blanket like that before, though.
