Well, we’re all still here. And we’re all still sick.

Jonathan has a fever again, along with nausea, dizziness, and headache.

My throat is sore sore sore, my nose is running/congested, and I am coughing.

Hula Girl is adorable but coughing.

Yesterday she managed to climb up on her toy bin. I had turned it upside-down so that she could use it as a play center, instead of always playing with her toys sitting on the floor. She has enjoyed that in the past. But yesterday, she took the opportunity to climb up on it, STAND UP, and bang on the window. Smartie pants. She’s a daredevil like her daddy!

That’s really all I can manage today, as I’ve literally never felt this sick before in all my life.

What has been your sickest moment? Or, what did your child/ren do that scared you to death?

Jonathan has always been the one who did things that scared me to death – so Hula Girl is definitely wearing his genes. All I can say is beware of things to climb, water, methods of conveyance, snow play, gymnastics, football (well you might not have to worry about that, but just in case) and other activities that have been blocked from my memory for now!

Oh boy! Sounds like we’ve got a lot to watch out for! Guess those early swimming lessons we’re planning are a good idea!

My sickest moment was in 7th grade when I had the flu hard core. I couldn’t even stand up. My mom rented me a bunch of movies though, so it worked out okay.

Jo- I’m glad you got better. I think having a sore throat is the WORST way anyone can be sick. I’d rather feel like barfing for a year straight than deal with a sore throat.

Nope – I would do anything NOT to barf! Even a sore throat or minor surgery (that didn’t cause me to barf). I mean it.

Yeah, I am the same way. But if I felt like I had to, I’d be ok. I still do anything and everything NOT to. In fact, I’ve only barfed like 3 times since I was 10, just because I refuse to do it. So if I felt like barfing or if I felt like I had a sore throat…. I choose the barfing feeling.
